During UK Americana Music Week in January 2023, Indie Kitchen teamed up with Northern Cowboy Films to shoot some sessions at Hackney Social. Indie Kitchen is a sponsor of UK AMA.

Willie Stratton hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia and has built a solid following during a decade or so, playing roll 'n' roll ranging from heartsick blues, twanged-up country, hip-shaking rockabilly a fair bit more. He came into Hackney Social earlier on in the day from his showcase at UK Americana Music Week to play ' Queen of the Midnight' from his 2022 'Drugstore Dreamin' album.
